bscAp is a non-profit collective management organization (CMO) in Belize that administers and protects the rights of its members (i.e., songwriters, publishers, performers and producers), in addition to serving as a key resource for industry stakeholders.
Ms. Cunningham started in entertainment practicing as a transactional attorney focusing on entertainment and new media contracts, and expanded her professional practice to include management of music publishing and master recording catalogues for established songwriters – such as Lee Hazlewood (These Boots Are Made for Walkin’), Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Harvey Fuqua (Sincerely) and Dance Hall Singjay Clifford Smith p/k/a Mr. Vegas (I Am Blessed) – whose catalogs (combined) generate annual revenue in excess of $1 million dollars.
Ms. Cunningham received a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree from South Carolina State University, is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and the United States District Court of New Jersey, and is a member of the Black Women in Entertainment Law Foundation (BWEL) and the Hudson Bergen Inn of Transactional Counsel.
