Camille Evans – CME Management Group

Not often in the marketing field will you come across a Marketing Executive who has the professional savvy to interact with your most high–‐end clients, as well as be accessible and adored by the most hardened misogynistic rapper or be able to “switch hats” and identify And communicate with everyone she comes in contact with. That woman is Camille Evans.

Camille Evans began her career in entertainment as an artist manager. Ashley Fox, then Senior Director of Artist Development at Sony Records offered Camille a job as a Junior Product Manager at Sony Records. Camille’s artists included legendary hip Hop icons Cypress Hill and Super Producer Jermaine Dupri. Camille Evans, then accepted a position working at MCA Records. Camille used her skills to “break” new and upcoming acts, including Essence Award nominee Charisse Arrington and established acts, such as Jodeci. Her proposal was the outline for Mary J. Blige’s multi–‐platinum selling “Share My World” release. Broadening her horizons, Camille moved to TVT Records where she worked with not only hip–‐hop (Ja–Rule, Mic Geronimo) and R&B (“Blade” Movie Soundtrack), but Also rock (Nine Inch Nails) and reggae (Bounty Killa). Subsequently, Camille was the marketing genius behind Mystikal’s breakthrough CD “Let’s Get Ready”, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 Chart, Outkast’s “Greatest Hits”, Toni Braxton, Nivea’s Grammy–‐nominated “Don’t Mess with My Man”, Petey Pablo’s debut platinum CD, Pink, T.I. and expanding the careers of respected hip–‐hop legends E–‐40 and Too Short. 

Camille Evans’s musical acts received FIVE (5) nominations in one Grammy season. In recent years, Camille Evans, with the gift of being able to successfully manage the public’s consciousness has also been Senior Editor of trendsetting “Fish–‐N–‐Grits” magazine, Urban Radio Promoter for Universal/Motown records and Senior Marketing Director for Noise Marketing. Currently, as CEO of CME Management Group, Camille Evans uses her experience in music; publishing and entertainment to cross promote various brands (Bombay Sapphire/Bacardi USA, Six Flags, Equinox Gyms, Notifi Music Group–‐Ginuwine, Johnny Gill,) and keep ahead of society’s pulse. Some of her events have included Jesse Jackson’s 66th Birthday Party, the movie premiere of Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married” and various national and international charities with appearances

In addition, to her years in Music Camille has supported various philanthropic causes including Jessica Simpson’s Operation Smile, Rainbow Push Coalition, Envirolution, Sweet Home New Orleans with John Legend and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. A new initiative for the CME Management Group team has been working with local Brooklyn business owners to Assist with branding, marketing and promoting their establishments globally.
