Kerry Dennis is known to many and in a few words can be described as intelligent, beautiful and a vibrant woman of God. Kerry is purposed to contribute to the every day lives of her audience through inspirational and gospel music.
Formerly known as Jamaica’s (W.I) beloved ZJ Rose from ZIP 103FM, Kerry has established herself as a trusted voice over her long standing career in radio. Born in Manchester, JA. Kerry moved to New York City as a child where she eventually graduated New York University with her bachelors degree in Marketing and Business Management.
Kerry’s versed background in broadcast journalism debuted in 2003 when she appeared as a guest host for the talk show The White Man and The Wright Man” on WRTN 93.5FM. An instant success Kerry’s popularity soared and she soon acquired her own talk show on WRTN. Her show transcended all walks of life through a fusion of Talk Radio, Reggae, Dancehall and R&B. In 2005 Kerry brought her magnetic energy to Jamaica’s ZIP 103FM, the country’s hippest and coolest radio station. As host and DJ of the ZIP Life Morning Show. Kerry brought an international flavor to the Jamaican airways spinning Rock, Pop, R&B, Hip Hop & Gospel Music. Also a music producer Kerry went on to produce tracks for recording artist: Jah Cure, Tarrus Riley, Mavado, and Beenie Man
It was while hosting ZIP 103FM’s Sunday Morning Gospel Show that Kerry realized that there was more of God to offer herself and her listeners than a few hours on Sunday morning. Inspirational music drives people to be better individuals and that is what she strives for.
“Gospel music music has much more to offer to your mind, body, soul and spirit. The times I played gospel on the air were more fulfilling than when I would play music from any other genre and I wanted more. That’s when I realized it was time for a change”.
People gravitate to Kerry when she speaks and motivates her to take her career to the next level. This transition in her life has pushed Kerry to relocate from Jamaica back to the Unites States to pursue a full-time position in Inspirational radio. Kerry has a clear vision of how she can positively transform lives. She is prepared, focused and committed to be a driving force behind such a movement.
