Donald Harper is the founder, President, and CEO of Jamstar Productions LLC, an entertainment marketing consulting firm and international talent agency.
Since the company's inception in 1990, Jamstar has worked with such notable reggae talent including Sean Paul, Lady Saw, Chakademus & Pliers, Cutty Ranks, Ce'cile, Nadine Sutherland, Thriller U, and legendary ska group, the Skatalites. Jamstar's concert productions and tours have taken place in the USA, Bahamas, Panama, and Africa. The company was also instrumental in launching the first tours in the USA for Sean Paul and Chakademus & Pliers.
Jamstar is also actively involved in seeking TV/Film synchronization and licensing agreements for by working with major networks such as E! Entertainment and MTV. The company's placements can also be found airing on TV shows such as "Keeping up with the Khardashians" and "Real World Challenge". They have also assisted artists in securing music/video placements on international airlines such as Air Austral (France) and Kenya Airways. The company also recently announced the signing of an exclusive worldwide distribution agreement with Tommy Boy Entertainment. Prior to the launching of Jamstar Productions, Donald held various retail industry positions as a finance executive where he worked with Fortune 500 companies such as Target, Rite Aid, and Footlocker corporations. Donald holds a B.Sc. degree in Accounting from Brooklyn College (New York) and is currently pursuing an International Master's in Management degree with Purdue University's Executive MBA program.
