Gary Bernstein -Syndication One
Gary Bernstein has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of the radio industry including on-air, sales, syndication, programming, and management. He is widely considered one of the few very well-rounded individuals to attain significant milestones and excellence in every role and facet of radio. He is currently President of Programming for Syndication One, where he directs the syndication for the The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, and Weekend Jumpoff, the Yolanda Adams Morning Show, Coco Brother’s Spirit and Live programs, Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Empowering Moments, and the talk shows of Al Sharpton and Warren Ballentine. Many people know Gary B. as the visionary that helped build and run Superadio Networks for well over a decade. A brief list of his syndication accomplishments there include molding and building The Wendy Williams Experience, the Baka Boyz Mastermixx, the BeBe Winans Radio Show, the Russ Parr Morning Show, The Donnie McClurkin Show, Smashtime Radio with Clinton Sparks, Gospel Traxx with Walt “Baby” Love, Club Virtue with Tonex, The Soul Lounge with Terry Bello, the Backspin with DJ Spinderella, Urban Mixx, which became the world’s largest mix show network, Pocos Pero Locos, Supermixx,,Open House Party, and Paul Oakenfold Presents. At one point in time, Gary had ten different radio programs airing simultaneously in New York City, which was a syndication first!. In 2009, at the RAB Convention, Bernstein received the prestigious Urban Knight Award, honoring his many achievements in marketing and sales. Before syndication, Gary was breaking all sales records at WEEI- Boston, where he was the number one billing advertising executive in the entire Boston radio market for 6 consecutive years. As a news director of a country radio station in Providence, Gary was also recognized by the Associated Press for breaking more news stories than the all-news station. Gary enjoys much satisfaction doing charity work in Jamaica for the Issa Trust Foundation while also working with musicians from the Caribbean. His Oceanic Tradewinds Music Company has done some noteworthy work, including the Bahamian legendary record She Fat by KB. He is currently working on the widely-acclaimed Trudy/Tru-Diva and Chris Demontague projects out of Jamaica. Gary also syndicates with the assistance of Media Giant Dial-Global, the Baka Boyz Hip Hop Mastermix and All-Star Hit Mix, the Donnie McClurklin radio programs, and Dave Kampel’s Microjams..
